Demand for Calvin Klein formal wear products are growing in demand by consumers and are translating into store sales. Sources say sales have soared as sleeker silhouettes and updated consumer taste make price less of a concern, as emotional value rebounds after years of decline.
Discussions with store owners say they’re doing the math and are finding a better return on investment using branded products, especially Calvin Klein. In comparison decision makers are finding branded products favorable in comparison to fictitious, no-name brands that cost less have limited ability to command a higher rental price through the life of the garment.
“We see more people looking for Calvin Klein,” said Bob Mahnken of The Tux Shop in New Jersey. Mahnken and other formal wear specialists say the Aston is a successful style because of the design but also say the name Calvin Klein is most recognized by consumers. Fashion conscious consumers find better value in super 100’s, Calvin Klein styles that include the two-button notch and peak lapels. Consumers polled say they seek a more flattering fit offered by Calvin Klein.
Calvin Klein products are renting and selling at a faster rate than all other styles, according to statistics supplied by Flow Formal Wear.
