Steve Lang Joins the Wedding Water Cooler; Sparks Discussions and Challenges Competitors

By Paul Pannone

Buzz surrounding The Wedding Water Cooler and the no-nonsense approach it brings to a business layered in fairy dust appeals to wedding experts that want to see positive change and growth in the business they love. Water Cooler discussions tackle everything from questionable data to the impact of same-sex weddings, sans the political correctness. In fact, discussions governed by nothing more than in-the-moment thoughts, random ideas and disagreements substantiated by experience and not hindsight surveys are quickly taking root– expected to have immeasurable impact on the wedding business in the months ahead.

“That doesn’t mean we’re not guided by data, it simply means we take the data, question the life out of it, rip it apart and use the results as a part of the picture– not the entire picture or as unquestioned Gospel truth,” says Christine Boulton, creator of the group.

Boulton told eWedNewz she was not surprised that Steve Lang accepted an invitation to join the discussion group.

“Steve is a smart marketer and relishes in the chance to promote the wedding business. Steve is passionate about the business and understands it in a way that is no-nonsense, direct and to the point. His presence is already felt in less that 24 hours,” according to Boulton.

Steve Lang (R) says he is very passionate about his family, friends and the wedding industry. Lang’s presence in the Wedding Water Cooler was immediately felt, sparking the group’s discussion and creating a positive environment for wedding experts to express themselves freely. Lang challenges competitors to match his passion, love and interest in the wedding business beyond making and shipping products.

In May Lang completed a trip to China for a first-hand view of what is happening in the country. Lang reported the findings to his supporters and discussed the matter with eWedNewz. Lang’s open approach continues to outflank his competitors that remain silent, buried deep in the cauldrons of turmoil facing the wedding dress business. Critics of Lang made attempts to tarnish his reputation but were unable to offer any contrary proof that his passion-driven love for the wedding business is what motivates his daily routine.

“I love my family, I love my friends– I love the wedding business. They are synonymous to me. If you f**k with any of them, I’ll kill you,” said Lang in no uncertain terms. Lang goes beyond the traditional vendor-retailer relationship, creating educational programs to help retailers become better merchants and business people. Lang added,”If anyone has any questions about me, my business or anything at all, have them call me, anytime.”

The Wedding Water Cooler welcomes Steve Lang and invites any and all of his critics to step up and be heard. In fact, we invite you to take part in the group, if you have the nerve.
