The formal wear business’ premier supplier, FLOW Formal, gives consumers plenty of choices in better branded products under Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Joseph Abboud. Consumers exposed to new styles for 2012 are becoming familiar with products under their favorite labels and will look for them in stores next season, making the job of retailers easy by simply giving them what they want.
Stores that never carried labels say they’re able to ask for (and get) a premium for recognized brands over fictitious names. Old styles and outdated merchandise is fast-becoming a thing of the past, as consumer awareness grows. The efforts at FLOW points consumers shopping for new formal wear styles to better stores rather than being ripped off and talked into old garments by less credible ones.
Under the new Joseph Abboud, the Onyx (pictured), Ruby and Vette in luxurious super 130 wool are in demand. The information of what’s selling is being shown and updated on the FLOW Facebook fan page. Where to find the items in local areas becomes available later this year when stores begin receiving delivery of orders being placed now.
Response to eWedNewz stories involving updated merchandise continues to spark discussions and more important actions by proactive stores that are sick and tired of being lumped into the stigma associated with old merchandise.
“My family has been in the formalwear industry for over 40 years. We are only a 2 store operation but we own and maintain our merchandise. We make it a point to purchase new formalwear and accessoires at least once a year. You have to stay on the cutting edge of style and fashion if you want to be able to please your customer. Both are location are in the western suburbs of the Chicagoland area. Our customers are fashion forward and we consider ourselves upscale. If you want to be able to charge a moderate to high price for your rental you better have the goods to prove it.”
