Celebrity event planner, Samantha Goldberg and the United Way are staging an event in New Jersey, supported by wedding professionals from all over the country. Since announcing the event, Goldberg has worked tirelessly to promote the event and rally vendors– whether she agrees with them or not– to work together for a better wedding industry.
Last year, Goldberg took on the fight against everyone and anyone that was suspicious or wasn’t on the up and up. But her dramatic role as an advocate for all business victims against Wedding Wire made headlines for weeks, raising the awareness of flaws in the wedding Wire business model.
In the middle of the conflict investor, Martha Stewart, dumped their shares of Wedding Wire for a tidy profit. eWedNewz questioned Goldberg and her uncanny timing to take on the company for a single bad review against her. Goldberg would not say whether she had any knowledge of Martha Stewart’s decision to dump Wedding Wire.
Goldberg was dismissed by Wedding Wire but an ongoing eWedNewz investigation watches other unhappy wedding industry sources, as they figure out how they will handle unflattering or incorrect information posted about them on Wedding Wire’s website.
eWedNewz continues to watch the entire situation develop, as well-known disputes with other charities and wedding personalities could be set aside to bring past-enemies and rivals together; to combine resources for the greater good of the business.
