The formal wear industry’s premier supplier, FLOW formal, announced they’ve added retail shirts to their Ralph Lauren label. The move shows consistency to supplying better, qualified tuxedo stores and men’s shop with branded merchandise to fill the growing demand of consumers.
According to recent studies grooms deciding to buy their wedding outfit are looking for quality, not discounts. The news opens a new market for retail sales for men’s formal wear and men’s stores. Discussions with consumers that said they’ve had unpleasant experiences with rentals include a smelly, disgusting shirt that looked like it was used a hundred times.
Earlier this year FLOW launched an in-stock retail program that included superfine fabrics under its major labels, including Ralph Lauren. A spokesperson for FLOW told eWedNewz they’re aware of the changing demand of consumers who are skeptical of the inferior products that flood the market.
“We’re really looking at what the consumer is telling us and it’s not what we’ve been led to believe,” according to Brian Weintraub.
Weintraub and the FLOW team are actively taking a proactive approach to designing products that are relevant to a new generation of consumer that wants ease in fit, recognizable brands and quality assurance.
eWedNewz is watching the growing trend of rental customers purchasing their shirt that comes in contact with their body. ($89 dollars mfg. suggested retail)
According to FLOW Ralph Lauren formal shirts are in stock and ready ship after December 15th, in time for the busiest time of the retail formal season (12/23 to New Years). Call 1-800-366-4300 to find the closet store that carries Ralph Lauren formal wear products in your area.
